The Aunties and Uncles program (Queensland) provides much needed support directly to families who need it the most.
With the exception of our part time Coordinators, the program is run by people who provide their time on a voluntary basis.
We are people who believe in the value of the program, and who care about the children in our local area.
Ways you can help
Meetings
You are welcome to come along to the fortnightly meeting of the Aunties and Uncles (Queensland) Lions Club at the Chalk Hotel, 735 Stanley Street, Woolloongabba, on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month, from 7pm. Visitors are always welcome and there is no obligation to join our Lions club. We recommend you contact the club before attending to check there have been no changes to the time, date or venue.

Volunteer to help at one of our fundraising events or children’s picnics. Please email your contact details and we will contact you about each event.

Companies can support Aunties and Uncles through Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorships.
Businesses of any size are welcome. We are always happy to discuss your different requirements and devise a plan that suits your requirements.
Corporate Partnerships
In partnering with corporations and businesses, we seek to engage all partners in long-term, strategic and mutually beneficial relationships. We are focused on developing partnerships of involvement and commitment.
Assistance from companies or corporate can take many different forms.
These can include:
• donations (tax deductible);
• donating funds from a designated charity day e.g. charity golf days/movie nights;
• sponsoring a project;
• workplace giving;
• update of IT equipment &/or software;
• publicity, advertising and promotions;
• sponsoring an excursion or activity for children in the program.
